Jehan Perera is Founder Member and Executive Director of the National Peace Council of Sri Lanka, a non-governmental organization established in 1995 to engage in peacebuilding across ethnic, religious and linguistic divides.
He is a political analyst and columnist for national newspapers and websites focusing on inter-ethnic reconciliation and peace building.
Jehan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard College, a Bachelor of Law degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
