N. K. Ashokbharan is an Attorney-at-Law with extensive experience in the fields of Constitution and Administrative Law, Civil Appeals, Construction Law, and Contracts and Commercial Matters.
In the area of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Mr. Ashokbharan has appeared in writ/judicial review proceedings, fundamental rights application, constitutional applications, and regulatory matters before the Superior Courts. His work often involves the interface between public decision making and commercial or individual rights.
Mr. Ashokbharan was a co-author of the Sri Lanka chapter in the Global Review of Constitutional Law (2018 and 2019 editions) and served as Coordinating Editor for the Roman-Dutch Law section of the 27th volume of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka Law Journal.
